Calculation program
The calculation program for tiled stoves (“KOB”) gives the opportunity to calculate tiled stoves according to EN 15444. It further provides a calculation for chimneys according to EN 13384-1, calculation for fireplaces, open fireplaces, cookers, bread ovens and more.

Austrian eco-label
The Austrian Stove Fitters‘ Testing and Research Institute has developed a technical solution with the combustion chamber “UmweltPlus”, which also meets the strict requirements of the Austrian eco-label (“Österreichisches Umweltzeichen” – UZ 37). Using the eco-label is a voluntary obligation and will remain so in the future. To keep the administrative effort as low as possible when introducing the eco-label, the Austrian Tiled Stove Association will provide you with all documents on request.

Legislation
Every small domestic fireplace must comply with the emission limit values and minimum efficiency in Austria. The basis is the so-called agreement in accordance with Article 15a B-VG on the “ Inverkehrbringen von Kleinfeuerungen und die Überprüfung von Feuerungsanlagen und Blockheizkraftwerken” (translated: placing on the market of small combustion systems and the inspection of combustion systems and combined heat and power plants).
